What stays free?

The app's free tier: dashboard, trends, and CSV or JSON exports of up to 7 days at a time. Observatory Community, including backup, restore and every update. Paid products add things; they never take free ones away.

I already bought Pro. Does anything change?

No. Pro stays a one-time purchase, and you keep everything it unlocks today.

Why do the server products cost money every month?

A server costs money every month: storage, backups, updates and the time to keep them working. The app runs on your phone and costs us nothing more after you buy it, so it stays a one-time purchase.

Who takes the payment?

Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle handles the payment, sales tax or VAT, invoices and refunds. This page loads Paddle's checkout only when you press a buy button. App purchases go through Apple.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days of a first purchase, no reason needed. Hosted pre-orders are refundable in full until your instance exists. The refund policy has the details.

How do I cancel?

From the link in any Paddle receipt, or by email. Your plan runs to the end of the period you paid for. If you cancel Care, your Observatory keeps working as Community.

Is the Observatory code public?

Yes. The core is source-available under the Elastic License 2.0: you can read it, change it and run it yourself, but not resell it as a hosted service. The protocol and SDK layers are Apache-2.0.

Is any of this medical?

No. HealthSave shows your own values and trends. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat anything.
